The purpose of this notice

This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information.

Mobius Group will be a ‘data controller’ in respect of the personal data you provide. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information. If you have concerns about your data you should address them, in the first instance, to andy@mobius-group.co.uk.

Why we collect your data

We collect your data because it is in our mutual interests to gather information in connection with the sale of your company. This information will include (but may not be limited to) your full name, email address and telephone number. This information will be used to maintain contact with you throughout our process.

How we collect your data

We may collect your data in a number of ways. You will either send information directly to us, or we may find it via 3rd party application such as Creditsafe. Information provided to Mobius Group will be added to our secure database which can only be accessed by employees of Mobius Group.

When we’ll share your data

Your information will be held within Mobius Group for the purposes of the acquisition exercise. We will use the contact and personal details you’ve provided unless specifically requested otherwise by you. With your permission we may share your details with Joint Venture partners or other parties where necessary to complete the acquisition.

How long we retain your data

Your data will be held for as long as we consider that there is a reasonable chance that you might like to do business with us. We do not anticipate holding your information for more than six years from our last contact unless we have good reasons to do so (such as a need to defend legal claims).

If you wish to be removed from our systems you can inform us at any time.

Failure to provide personal information

If you fail to provide certain information when requested, we may not be able to complete the acquisition.
